The Studio

Running Art is a design project based in the Pacific Northwest. Born at the intersection of distance running and data design, our mission is to provide athletes with a permanent record of their most memorable runs.

The Data

Our custom rendering engine pulls raw coordinate data directly from your activity files. By utilizing sub-meter GPS precision, we ensure that every turn, elevation change, and straightaway is rendered exactly as it was run. This isn't a drawing of a route–it's the route itself.

The Materials

A great run deserves to be preserved, not just printed.

• The Paper: We use 200gsm premium matte paper, ensuring deep color density and a finish that won't fade over time.
• Acrylic Plexiglass: Our frames provide the clarity of glass with the lightweight, protective resilience required for high-end art.
• The Frame: Each piece is housed in a sustainable solid wood frame, assembled by hand and ready to hang.
